Finally, we have our next new pattern for Spring already together, we finished it up yesterday!

Introducing ...

P.S. I Love You

I have wanted to make a quilt with chevrons for some time now and this quilt came together in a snap.  I love the touch of appliqué along the top and bottom borders just to give it a touch of spontaneity!  This is the perfect quilt to cuddle up with as it's a lap quilt.

While I chose pinks and reds, I'm just dying to remake it in a purple, blue and green colorway!

For the quilting I chose to use a ruler in the center echoing the chevron shape and then feather around the angles.  This really helps the colored chevrons "POP" :)

Also linking up with some of our other faves: Crazy Mom QuiltsCan I Get a Whoop Whoop?; and Thank Goodness Its Finished Friday.

Have a great weekend and don't forget to check Facebook this afternoon!

    1. Hi! I'm glad you found the blog :) Yes, I free hand drew the feathers after I used the ruler to create the straight lines in the center. Thanks for pinning and good luck with your quilt this summer, I'd love to see how it turns out!!! (megan@cherryvalleydesigns.com)
