Yumminess

Hi Everyone!

I just had to pop in and share this sweet recipe I just made.  A couple of weeks ago Kevin & Amanda had a giveaway for Jif's new Mocha Cappuccino hazelnut spread.  The name alone had me hooked, so today when I was perusing my counter and stumbled upon the recipe for Chex's Muddy Buddies, I thought this would be a perfect fix.  It's super easy and super yummy, enjoy!

Chex Mix - Jif Mocha Cappuccino Muddy Buddies

9 cups of Chex cereal (I used half Rice Chex and half Corn Chex)

1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup of Jif Mocha Cappuccino Flavored Hazelnut Spread

1/4 cup of butter

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (I used Trader Joe's Bourbon Vanilla extract)

1 cup of powdered sugar

Place Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.  Put semi-sweet chocolate chips, Jif and butter in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 1 minute.  Stir and place the bowl back in the microwave for another 30 seconds.  At this point, the spread should be nice and smooth.  Mix into the cereal and place the cereal in a Ziploc bag with the powdered sugar and toss until the cereal is well coated.  Dig in and enjoy - I know I am!
